Snurkel – Geolocated information platform
The project
1. HERO, the information that happens around you
A technological platform that gathers news, notices, events and publications and turns them into a personalized experience according to the location and interests of each user.
2. THE CHALLENGE, What if the news could find you?
Information is scattered among media, municipalities, organizations, companies and users. Snurkel was born to gather it and allow each person to decide what they want to receive, where and when.
This allows us to sell the project from the point of view of the technological solution, not simply saying that we made an app.
3. THE SOLUTION, A new way to discover what is happening
Here I would make a visual composition with 3 major functionalities:
- The Map
Draw your areas of interest and discover what is happening exactly there. - The Wall
A dynamic feed with the most relevant news from your areas and your interests. - My interests
Follow words, people, groups, places or topics and receive related news even if it happens outside your area.
The latter is especially interesting because it is a feature that you have recently added and it sets Snurkel apart.
